Indian Institution of Export and
Import Management (IIEIM) was
founded 1990 as a CAUSE GROUP with GLOBAL PERSPECTIVE. The theme was conceived
in mid '90 and it was intended to be a Professional Management Institution with
sharp focus on International Business Education Training And Research.
IIEIM was inaugurated by the then
Deputy Minister of Commerce, Govt. of India. Shri. Salman Khurshid. IIEIM is a
non-Profit Educational Organization duly registered under the Society
Registration Act/Bombay Public Trust Act. IIEIM is approved by Bharat Sevak
Samaj(BSS) - A National Development Agency Promoted by the Govt. of India.
World Trading System which is
undergoing swift and perceptible changes, and the imperatives of Globalization
Of Business have created an increasing need for a new breed of Managers and
motivated Entrepreneurs well geared in the art and science of managing
enterprises dealing with highly complex International Business environment. In
this challenging task, IIEIM, which is a unique and pioneering Institution in
the country, has been able to play a significant role.
IIEIM is Permanent Member of the
Indian Institute of Foreign Trade - IIFT (Set up by the Ministry of Commerce -
Govt. of India) and has excellent track record with respect to job placement /
career growth. IIEIM was an Associate Member of Federation of Indian Chambers
of Commerce and Industry (FICCI - Apex Industry Organization) / User Member of
World Trade Centre and has linkages with a few other Organizations.
Eligibility Criteria:
(i) A Bachelor's degree or
equivalent from an Indian or Foreign Unversity with min. 50% aggregate marks/
grade, in Engineering, Pharmacy, Science, Commerce, Arts, etc.
(ii) A minimum two years work
experience desirable but not essential.
(iii) Proficiency in English
language
(iv) Academic excellence,
accomplishments Organizational Sponsorships etc may receive weightage
(v) Final yr degree student can also
apply
Admission Procedure:
The Written Test will consist of
i) English Comprehension Test
ii) General Knowledge
iii) Business Awareness
