The Department of Management
Studies, Indian Institute of Science, started in 1948, is one of the oldest
management schools in the country. The Department offers an M.Mgt Master of
management programme exclusively for engineering graduates. It has a very
strong research programme leading to Ph.D. degree in management for full-time
students, to teachers from engineering colleges under Quality Improvement
Programme (QIP), and to practicing professionals from industry on part-time
basis through External Registration Programme (ERP).

Indian Institute of Science - IISc Bangalore offers Master of Management full
time Programme. IISc is one of the prestigious Institutions in India, currently
only 25 seats are available for the Master of Management course.
IISc accepts CAT, GATE & GMAT
scores and the selection criteria is highly competitive. About 0.01% students
make it to the final list of selected candidates. IISc is located close to
Yeswantapura Railway Station, North Bengaluru.
Eligibility-
Should possess a minimum of first
class in Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Technology or equivalent degree
Should have appeared for CAT/GMAT/GATE and scored minimum required
score/percentile
Admission Procedure-
Admissions are based on
score/percentile in CAT/GMAT/GATE and performance in GD and PI.
Candidates called for the group
discussion and interview should carry attested copies of their transcripts
(marks memos from SSLC or equivalent onwards, degree certificate of the
qualifying examination, etc) and produce them before the interview committee,
failing which, will not be interviewed by the panel.
